Position Summary

Phoenix Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and reliable Evening Telehealth Therapist to facilitate virtual therapy groups and provide individual clinical services via telehealth. This position is ideal for a therapist looking for supplemental income, flexible evening hours, or a second position without weekend or on-call responsibilities.

The therapist will run evening telehealth groups Tuesday through Thursday, maintain a small caseload, and complete a limited number of virtual intakes each week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate evening telehealth group therapy sessions (Tues–Thurs from 6pm-9pm)
• Provide individual therapy to assigned clients
• Maintain a maximum caseload of 15 clients
• Complete 1–3 virtual intakes per week
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Complete progress notes and clinical documentation within required timeframes
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication with case management and psychiatry staff
• Monitor client risk, safety concerns, and clinical stability
• Maintain compliance with agency and state documentation standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
• New Jersey license: LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation
• Strong group facilitation skills
• Reliable internet connection and private workspace

Preferred:

• Experience in Partial Care, IOP, PHP, or outpatient group therapy settings
• Experience running skills-based or psychoeducational groups (CBT/DBT strongly preferred)
