LauLau is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and exceptionally reliable Planning Paralegal to support our US-based law firm clients. This role prepares the instruments that protect clients' legacies—wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents—and supports probate and trust administration with precision and discretion, ensuring all matters are handled seamlessly. professionalism in a high-performance remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Prepare estate planning packages and signing instructions
- Support probate filings and estate administration
- Prepare trust-funding documents and asset transfers
- Maintain client files, asset inventories, and beneficiary records
- Coordinate document execution, notarization, and witnessing
- Track court and administration deadlines
- Communicate with clients, courts, and financial institutions
Requirements:
- Minimum Minimum 5 years of professional estate planning paralegal experience, including at least 2 years at a U.S. law firm (not in-house or corporate legal departments)
- Familiarity with wills, trusts and probate procedures.
- High attention to details and confidentiality
- Paralegal certificate of relevant legal training preferred
