We are seeking an experienced Epic Grand Central (ADT) Analyst for a contract engagement through November 2026, with a strong possibility of extension.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, and build support of our Epic Grand Central application. While direct Grand Central build experience is highly preferred, candidates with robust build experience in Epic Prelude (Registration) and a strong understanding of ADT workflows are highly encouraged to apply.
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $90-95/hour on W2
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system build, configuration, and optimization within the Epic Grand Central (ADT) module.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders, registrars, and clinical staff to translate business requirements into efficient Epic system designs.
- Conduct unit testing, integrated system testing, and regression testing for Epic upgrades, double-upgrades, or custom build implementations.
- Provide tier-2/tier-3 application support, resolving complex tickets, build errors, and interface issues (e.g., HL7 ADT feeds).
- Partner closely with analysts across related modules—specifically Prelude (Registration), Cadence (Scheduling), Resolute Hospital Billing (HB), and ClinDoc—to ensure seamless data integration and patient flow.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of build specs, system designs, testing scripts, and operational workflows.
Requirements
- Epic Grand Central (ADT) Certification is highly preferred, but an Epic Prelude Certification with strong build experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on Epic analyst experience focusing on ADT/Prelude patient identity and tracking workflows.
- Strong knowledge of patient movement workflows, bed planning, environmental services (EVS) integration, and patient registration pathways.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and interface errors.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical build teams and operational hospital leadership.
Nice to Have:
- Direct Epic Grand Central build experience (highly preferred).
- Experience with Epic’s Identity (MPI) module or RTE (Real-Time Eligibility) configuration.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale Epic upgrades or post-live optimization cycles.
