Job Description

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect with hands-on experience supporting Merger & Acquisition (M&A) integration programs. This is not a technical integration architect role, it is a business-focused enterprise architecture position that bridges business capabilities, applications, technology landscapes, and integration strategies following acquisitions.

You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to assess current-state environments, define target-state architectures, support Day 1 and TSA Exit planning, and create integration roadmaps that enable successful business transformation.

This role is ideal for someone with 2โ€“5 years of Enterprise Architecture experience (or 5โ€“10 years in Solution/Application Architecture with strong Enterprise Architecture exposure) who enjoys operating at both strategic and execution levels.

  • Support Enterprise Architecture activities across M&A integration programs.
  • Assess current-state application and technology landscapes.
  • Define target-state architectures and integration roadmaps.
  • Document application portfolios, technology inventories, and architecture artifacts.
  • Perform application rationalization and identify consolidation opportunities.
  • Map business capabilities to supporting applications.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Support Day 1, TSA Exit, and long-term integration planning.
  • Collaborate with business, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams.
  • Review solution designs for alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Identify integration risks, technical debt, and dependencies.
  • Maintain architecture repositories and governance documentation.
  • Produce executive-ready architecture assessments and recommendations.
  • Support successful delivery of integration initiatives with project teams and partners.

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience supporting multiple acquisitions or divestitures.
  • TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture framework exposure.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as:
    • Ardoq
    • LeanIX
    • Bizzdesign
    • erwin Evolve (or similar)
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organizations.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Working Model

  • Remote with collaboration across UK/EU time zones.
  • Flexibility to occasionally accommodate meetings with North America or APAC stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for architecture workshops (typically up to 3 days).
