We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support our contingent workforce programs across the United States. This is a high-impact HR role focused on compliance, leave administration, coaching, and risk mitigation within a fast-paced, client-service-driven environment.

Position Overview
The Employee Relations Specialist provides exceptional HR service delivery for contingent employees, ensuring compliant case management and responsive employee support. This role partners closely with Program Operations, Payroll, and HR leadership to maintain policy integrity, minimize risk, and drive strong service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Employee Relations
  • Manage daily assigned cases through the shared HR service inbox, ensuring timely, professional, and compliant responses aligned to defined SLAs.
  • Conduct verbal and written communications related to coaching, performance feedback, assignment endings, and policy notifications.
  • Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies to resolve employee relations matters while minimizing risk.
  • Educate contingent employees on company and client policies with clarity and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within CRM and HRIS systems.
Leave & Accommodation Administration
  • Administer U.S. FMLA, state leave laws, ADA accommodations, personal leaves of absence, and related documentation.
  • Ensure all leave cases comply with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Partner with Payroll to advise contingent employees regarding attendance, PTO usage, and mandated sick/safe leave requirements.
Compliance & Collaboration
  • Maintain compliance with Tailored Management and client-specific policies.
  • Support engagement, turnover, and retention initiatives in partnership with the U.S. Contingent Workforce HR Manager and Program Managers.
  • Participate in departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • U.S. multi-state employment law knowledge preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional HR experience within U.S.-based organizations, including:
  • High-volume FMLA and ADA case management and interactive process administration
  • U.S. state and local leave law compliance
  • Employee relations case management and documentation
  • Client- or customer-service-oriented HR environments
  • Advanced (C1) English proficiency required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (written and verbal) required.

Work Environment
  • Fully remote position (home office required with reliable high-speed internet and professional workspace).
  • Schedule aligned to U.S. business hours:
    • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time) during U.S. Daylight Saving Time
    • 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (local time) during Standard Time
  • Primarily sedentary role utilizing computers, VoIP systems, and standard office technology.
  • Regular verbal and written communication required throughout the workday.
