Role Overview
EX Squared LATAM is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to support a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand by executing high-impact email marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle programs. This role will be responsible for building, testing, optimizing, and deploying email campaigns and automated customer journeys that drive engagement, retention, and revenue.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Klaviyo, a strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, and an analytical mindset focused on continuous optimization through data-driven decision-making.
Location: Fully remote position within LATAM.
Contract Duration: Fixed term (6 months)
Language Requirement: Advanced English.
What you'll do
Campaign Execution
- Build, test, and deploy email campaigns using Klaviyo, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and responsiveness across devices and email clients.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks before campaign launches, validating links, dynamic content, segmentation, and personalization.
- Execute A/B testing for subject lines, content, audience segmentation, and send-time optimization.
Lifecycle Marketing
- Build and maintain automated lifecycle journeys, including welcome series, onboarding, abandoned cart, post-purchase, cross-sell, loyalty, win-back, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Translate CRM strategies into scalable automated workflows using behavioral triggers, conditional logic, and customer segmentation.
- Continuously optimize customer journeys to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Audience & Data Management
- Manage customer segments, profile properties, suppression lists, and personalization variables within Klaviyo.
- Support integrations with marketing and customer data platforms to maintain accurate audience targeting and campaign execution.
- Ensure data integrity across CRM systems and marketing platforms.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, including deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue attribution, and engagement metrics.
- Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and customer retention.
- Apply email marketing best practices related to deliverability, frequency management, compliance, personalization, and subscriber engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and E-commerce teams to execute campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Support ongoing testing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvements in CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies.
What you'll bring
- 2–4 years of experience in Email Marketing, CRM Operations, or Lifecycle Marketing.
- Experience working in DTC, e-commerce, subscription-based, or consumer-focused businesses.
- Advanced proficiency with Klaviyo, including campaigns, flows, segmentation, personalization variables, reporting, and automation.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing concepts, including customer onboarding, retention, re-engagement, loyalty, cross-sell, and win-back strategies.
- Experience creating audience segments and leveraging behavioral data to personalize customer communications.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic email template modifications.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign performance data and translating insights into recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
