Position Description

Bridgenext is supporting a large fee-only RIA (multi-office, grown through acquisition) as it consolidates several financial planning tools onto eMoney and designs the integration between eMoney and the firm’s advisor workspace.

A design phase is underway with a Bridgenext project manager and product owner in place. We are adding an eMoney SME for platform depth — first for a design workshop with eMoney’s team in late August, then into implementation.

We need someone who has configured eMoney, migrated firms onto it, and knows the practical trade-offs. The work includes:

  • Supporting the eMoney design workshop — translating the target-state design into eMoney configuration decisions: plan types, templates, advisor workflows, office and permission structure, client portal setup
  • Advising on the migration approach — what moves cleanly from legacy planning tools (MoneyGuide, NaviPlan, RightCapital), what has to be re-created, and how to tier the migration by client segment
  • Helping design segment-tiered planning delivery — self-service and centralized-desk planning for smaller clients, standardized advisor-led planning mid-tier, advanced planning for complex households — and mapping each tier to eMoney capabilities
  • Informing the API and integration design — what the eMoney Access APIs support in practice, where the platform’s boundaries are, and how eMoney’s implementation and data-migration services teams typically engage
  • Reviewing estimates against real-world benchmarks — hours per plan rebuild, portal adoption, aggregation maintenance, training effort

Must Have Skills:

  • 3+ years hands-on eMoney experience — implementation consultant, platform administrator at an RIA or broker-dealer, eMoney employee, or planning-technology lead
  • At least one migration onto eMoney from another planning platform
  • Working knowledge of eMoney’s platform components: Foundational and Advanced Planning, Decision Center, client portal, Vault, aggregation, and office/user administration
  • RIA or wealth-management operating context — advisor workflows, client segmentation, custodial relationships
  • Comfortable in client workshops and able to give a direct opinion when the design calls for it

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with eMoney Access APIs or enterprise integrations
  • Exposure to Envestnet Tamarac or Salesforce-based advisor desktops
  • Experience at a firm that consolidated tools after acquisitions
  • CFP® or para-planning background

Professional Skills:

  • Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong team and individual player
  • Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
  • High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results
  • Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
  • Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues
