E-Commerce Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow our online sales channels. This fully remote role combines analytical thinking with creative execution to improve product listings, conversion rates, and overall e-commerce performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise product listings across e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Takealot, or similar)
• Monitor and improve key e-commerce metrics including conversion rate, AOV, and cart abandonment
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and discount strategies
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce compelling product content and visuals
• Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
• Manage inventory accuracy, pricing updates, and product catalogue maintenance
• Coordinate with logistics and customer support teams to resolve fulfilment issues

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital retail
• Hands-on experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or a major marketplace platform
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Analytics and e-commerce reporting tools
• Understanding of SEO best practices for product listings
• Experience running paid campaigns on Google Shopping or Meta is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
• Self-managed and results-oriented in a remote work environment
• Degree in Marketing, Business, or Digital Commerce preferred

Salary: R30,000/month | 100% Remote
