Role Purpose

The E-commerce Manager is responsible for running the business of e-commerce for SolarBalls & Run Monster Run merchandise. They own the commercial engine behind the business, including store operations, analytics, inventory, logistics, supplier management, and financial performance. They answer the question:

Key Responsibilities (Owns)

  • Develop and maintain the 3 year merchandise roadmap, including expansion into Amazon & other e-commerce platforms.
  • Own the day to day operations of the online stores.
  • Manage store merchandising, navigation, and commercial optimization.
  • Analyse store performance and make data driven recommendations.
  • Improve conversion rate, average order value (AOV), checkout flow, and overall customer purchasing experience.
  • Execute quarterly campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager from an operational and commercial perspective.
  • Manage supplier relationships, timelines, and manufacturing.
  • Oversee logistics, fulfilment, and inventory planning.
  • Own product costing, pricing, and profit margin analysis in partnership with Finance.
  • Continuously improve operational efficiency, supplier performance, product quality, and costs.
  • Manage the CX Representative (Tweet) and Special Projects Coordinator (Dianne).

Accountable For

  • Monthly merchandise revenue, achieved through the following levers:
    • Store conversion and commercial performance.
    • Gross profit margins.
    • Inventory health and stock availability.
    • Supplier performance and delivery timelines.
    • On time fulfilment and logistics.
  • Building new product line productions and logistics
  • Accurate analytics, reporting, and commercial decision making.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, store management, or a related role.
  • Obsessed with excellent customer experience, without compromise.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon and Shopify.
  • Solid understanding of fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into action.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
