Manage a portfolio of academic member schools to drive engagement, retention, and the adoption of assessment and data tools. Act as a strategic advisor to help schools translate assessment insights into actionable instructional strategies and identify upsell opportunities.
Engagement Overview
E3n is seeking a contract professional to support the execution of its member success academic portfolio for member schools in the U.S. This work focuses on driving member engagement through member renewal and upselling E3n’s membership, products, and services.
This is a project-based, outcome-driven engagement supporting the Member Success Team.
Scope of Services
The contractor will be responsible for delivering work across four core areas:
1. Member Relationship
- Serve as the primary relationship lead for a portfolio of member schools focused on achievement products.
- Build strong relationships with heads of school, academic deans, curriculum leaders, division directors and student support teams.
- Ensure members remain engaged with E3n’s assessment and data tools.
- Serve as strategic advisor to a portfolio of high priority academic member institutions, ensuring sustained engagement with E3n assessments, data tools, and professional learning opportunities.
Key Outcome: Achieve sustained assessment and tool adoption and retention across the assigned portfolio of academic member organizations.
2. Data Interpretation & Academic Consultation
- Guide member schools in interpreting assessment data and understanding patterns across cohorts and programs.
- Help schools connect assessment insights with instructional planning and academic strategy.
- Support schools in using E3n data platforms to inform decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for E3n assessment programs, including achievement, writing assessments, and student well-being, helping member schools interpret results and apply insights to instructional practice.
Key Outcome: Enable member schools to effectively translate assessment insights into actionable instructional planning and data-driven academic strategies.
3. Member Engagement & Retention
- Monitor member engagement with E3n academic tools and services.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and engagement in Salesforce.
- Track member product usage and flag notable changes in engagement or participation patterns.
- Identify opportunities to deepen utilization and expand engagement with E3n resources.
- Gather feedback from members to improve products and services.
- Responsible for the upsell of membership from Associate to Full, and support potential product upsell opportunities as they are defined.
Key Outcome: Proactively manage the member lifecycle to deepen product utilization, identify upsell opportunities, and secure long-term institutional loyalty.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Thought Leadership
- Partner with Product, Research, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure member insights inform product development and strategy.
- Share insights from member schools regarding emerging needs and challenges.
- Deliver thought leadership for academic leaders through webinars, workshops, and conference sessions.
- Support the development of communities of practice focused on assessment, data use, and student success.
Key Outcome: Serve as a strategic bridge between member schools and internal teams, translating field insights into product innovation while establishing E3n as a premier voice in academic success.
Deliverables
- Delivery of tailored onboarding pathways and data-utilization roadmaps for newly assigned member institutions.
- Conducted data debrief sessions translating student achievement, writing, and well-being metrics into actionable school strategies.
- Guide member schools through the E3n renewal process emphasizing the benefits of full membership
- Tracked product usage and member engagement across assigned member territory
- Document and share field insights, feature requests, and user challenges delivered to Product, Research, and Sales teams.
Engagement Structure
- Reports to: Senior Director, Member Success (Academic)
- Works independently with regular check-ins
- Collaborates cross-functionally with growth, marketing, product, and support teams
Travel
- Work under this Agreement does not include independent member travel or conference attendance.
- If the parties mutually determine that travel should become part of the engagement, the scope of work, compensation, reimbursement of approved business expenses, and any related expectations will be documented in a written amendment or addendum to this Agreement executed by both parties before such travel occurs.
Timing & Commitment
- Contract period: Initially six months, with the opportunity for contract extensions.
Success Measures
Success in this engagement will be evaluated based on:
- Member retention rate (High Priority and full territory)
- Number of schools upgrading to full membership
- Member engagement
- E3n tool usage (360 Access, MyE3n, etc.) by members
- Cross team upselling with Member Success (Enrollment) team
