JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dynamics 365 Tester to lead and execute testing efforts across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), with a strong focus on validating integrations and end-to-end business processes. This role requires hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and an understanding of content management, workflows, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a SAFe Agile environment and bring a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and business process validation.
Essential Functions
Design and execute test plans across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint Online, and integrated solutions (functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT)
Validate Power Platform capabilities including document management, workflows, permissions, and user experience
Test and ensure quality across integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and related platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end business processes and requirements
Document defects, test results, and maintain logs; raise risks and escalate when needed
Support user acceptance testing and provide guidance to business users
Leverage tools such as Azure DevOps, Mabl, Playwright, and other frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency
Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and integration validation strategies
Required Experience
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
4+ years of software testing experience, including manual and automated testing
3+ years of experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
Experience validating system integrations, workflows, and data exchange across platforms
Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Playwright or Mabl)
Strong understanding of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Experience working within the SAFe framework
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred Experience
Experience testing Dynamics 365 and SharePoint integrations
Familiarity with SharePoint supporting workflows and integrations
Experience in environments focused on content management and business process modernization
SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Tester)
Candidates located in the Washington, DC metro area or Chicago are strongly preferred
