We are actively seeking a detail oriented, solutions focused Drug Testing Specialist to support 

Validity’s Product Management division and client-facing teams. This role is responsible for coordinating drug testing orders, monitoring results, managing provider relationships, supporting client-specific testing requirements, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of services. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working across teams to resolve issues and deliver strong client outcomes.

 

We are looking for a Drug Testing Specialist to:


Drug Testing Operations

  • Monitor and manage pending drug testing orders to support timely completion and accurate results.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding drug testing orders, results, requirements, and processes.
  • Facilitate successful order completion by identifying and resolving issues that may delay testing or reporting.
  • Monitor testing status and maintain accurate, thorough notes and documentation throughout the process.
  • Coordinate the administrative closure of expired, cancelled, or otherwise incomplete drug test requests.
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of random drug testing programs.
  • Review orders and testing activity for accuracy and completeness and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.


Provider & Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate with drug testing and occupational health providers, including laboratories, collection sites, clinics, and other testing partners, to obtain results and resolve issues.
  • Research and identify appropriate testing facilities based on client requirements, applicant location, test type, and availability.
  • Maintain effective communication with testing providers to support timely completion and resolution of outstanding orders.
  • Assist with evaluating provider capabilities, coverage, availability, and service concerns.


Client & Internal Support

  • Provide responsive, professional support to internal teams and external clients regarding drug testing services and processes.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding testing status, outstanding requirements, delays, and resolution of issues.
  • Support the Client Experience team in addressing service concerns and improving overall client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Client Experience, Product Management, and other internal teams to minimize time to completion and provide transparency throughout the testing process.
  • Serve as a resource to teammates on drug testing processes, requirements, provider capabilities, and common issues.
  • Escalate complex or time-sensitive concerns appropriately and participate in developing effective solutions.


Documentation, Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate Client and order information within CRM and other applicable systems.
  • Document significant client interactions, testing activity, issues, resolutions, and follow-up requirements.
  • Prepare basic reports and data as needed to support operational and client needs.
  • Identify trends, gaps, or recurring issues within drug testing activity and communicate findings to appropriate teams.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with Validity policies and applicable requirements.


Team & Professional Development

  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for drug testing processes and contribute to the ongoing development of team knowledge.
  • Participate in company and industry-specific training and stay informed about changes affecting drug testing services and processes.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions that improve processes, client experience, team performance, and service quality.
  • Work collaboratively across departments and contribute to the overall success of Validity.
  • Complete general administrative responsibilities as needed, including data entry, answering phones, filing, and other operational support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience in …
