The Therapeutic Strategy and Operational Director, North America is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational strategy and execution for cardiometabolic clinical trials. This role supports business growth by partnering closely with Business Development to shape client-centric strategies, contribute to proposal development, and represent the organization in client engagements. As the North American portfolio grows, the role will provide operational oversight, ensure high-quality project delivery, and contribute to long-term client partnerships and governance. P95 and Julius Clinical have recently joined forces, bringing together two highly complementary organizations with a shared mission: advancing global health through high‑quality epidemiological research and clinical trials. We are a collaborative and international team of nearly 500 colleagues and nearly 40 nationalities that work on diverse projects, topics, and clients. There is a high level of empowerment, flexibility, and autonomy to make things happen.
  • Lead the development of client relationships and support implementation of preferred provider programs.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and functional leaders to develop operational strategies aligned with client needs.
  • Support business development activities including RFP review, budgets, and proposals.
  • Oversee execution of clinical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
  • Recruit and manage Clinical Project Managers in North America as needed.
  • Provide leadership and support to project teams.
  • Support contracting activities including negotiation of agreements and budgets.
  • Participate in and lead client meetings, bid defenses, and governance forums.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements.
  • Support business growth and client expansion initiatives.
  • Provide senior-level project oversight and governance.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required (~25%).
  • 5 years of global Clinical Project Management experience.
  • Experience developing operational strategies for clinical trials.
  • Strong background in cardiometabolic clinical trials.
  • Experience working with Sponsors and CROs.
  • Knowledge of budgets, contracting, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
  • Leadership experience on large-scale projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a high growth environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
