By joining our rapidly growing Salesforce practice, you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting, you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, business development, leading teams, and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of CrossCountry’s leadership team.

The Delivery Lead is the strategic bridge between our clients’ business ambitions and our team’s delivery excellence. You are responsible for the health, growth, and impact of a high-value portfolio, acting as a senior champion for our clients while maintaining the high standards of quality that define the DCS brand.

What You'll Do:

Client Delivery: Lead the development and delivery of services in the following areas:

  • Own the delivery success and commercial performance of your portfolio, ensuring projects adhere to internal standards and maintain a sustainable risk profile.
  • Collaborate with Client Account Leads on account planning, identifying opportunities to expand current engagements by co-creating value with your clients.
  • Lead and coach a diverse team of consultants, prioritizing their professional growth and career progression alongside delivery excellence.
  • Manage accurate resource and financial forecasts for your portfolio, identifying utilization risks before they impact the business.
  • Establish and maintain the delicate balance between client priorities, CCC business strategy, and the needs and quality-of-life considerations of our people.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
  • Work across delivery functions—including Architects, Developers, and Resource Operations—to ensure our teams are set up for success every day.

Practice Leadership: Serve as a key leader in the Salesforce practice by:

  • Oversee client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, timelines, fee negotiations, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases, covering strategy, goal setting, deliverables, and maintaining an integrated project plan.
  • Lead business development efforts and market a full range of services to prospective clients, leveraging existing relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Develop timely resolutions to issues, mitigate risks, and address project team conflicts.
  • Create delivery methodologies and new service offerings.
  • Manage teams and people by tracking and directing performance against objectives while encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.


What You'll Bring:
  • 12+ years of experience implementing Salesforce, configuring Salesforce, leading Salesforce optimization projects, and providing Salesforce managed services.
  • Experience covering all aspects, from planning and delegation to process flow discovery, functional/technical design, training, testing, go-live support, and project management.
  • Proven experience in identifying new growth and shared revenue opportunities by collaborating with sales leadership to generate new business, expand existing relationships, and increase bookings.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
  • A strong commitment to mentoring and leading teams while efficiently implementing new ideas and initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%. Travel varies based on client preferences.


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services.

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $171,000 - $235,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
