Organization Overview
The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) is a pioneering and influential organization dedicated to enhancing the leadership and status of Latino professionals across every sector of the global economy. With a rich heritage and a forward-looking approach, ALPFA is a hub of professional development, and community enrichment catering to both its student and professional members. ALPFA's primary goal is to positively impact Latino lives at every stage, from education and career readiness to leadership and retirement, through targeted programs, mentorship, and active community engagement, thereby contributing to societal progress.
Position Summary
The Director of Marketing will architect and lead a modern, data-driven, AI-enabled marketing engine that powers ALPFA’s growth as the definitive Latino leadership movement. You will transform marketing from event promotion into a true strategic growth function; driving membership growth, elevating national brand authority, amplifying partner and philanthropic campaigns, and helping bring ALPFA’s platform and certification offerings to market.
This role is built for an ambitious, systems-minded marketing leader who wants real ownership: of the strategy, the budget, the team, and the outcomes. If you think in engines and infrastructure rather than one-off campaigns, and you want your work to shape the trajectory of a national movement, this is your seat.
Responsibilities
Own and lead ALPFA’s national marketing strategy and execution, with enterprise-level authority across brand, growth, and demand.
Build a scalable, full-funnel member acquisition engine and the reporting infrastructure to measure and optimize it.
Manage the annual marketing budget within Board-approved allocation, and make disciplined, data-informed investment decisions.
Design the marketing organization — hiring, structuring, and developing the team — and engage and manage external agencies and vendors.
Elevate ALPFA’s national brand authority and narrative power through earned media, storytelling, and member-advancement stories.
Generate marketing-attributed pipeline for corporate partnerships and deliver co-branded campaign reporting to partners.
Digitally amplify philanthropic campaigns and strengthen donor storytelling.
Partner with executive leadership to bring ALPFA’s platform and certification offerings to market through pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy.
Establish brand governance across national and chapter-facing assets, with toolkits that keep the movement consistent nationwide.
Deliver clear, executive-level performance reporting and forecasting to the leadership team and Board.
Basic Qualifications
10–15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
Demonstrated track record of measurable revenue and growth impact.
Experience scaling an organization from mid-size to national scale.
Strong command of data, analytics, and marketing performance measurement (acquisition, funnel, attribution, retention).
A systems and process thinker — someone who builds repeatable, scalable infrastructure and understands how channels, decisions, and functions connect to produce outcomes, rather than simply completing individual tasks.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Ability to travel 15–25%.
Preferred Attributes
Experience with AI-enabled marketing tools, automation, and personalization.
Background in membership, subscription, or recurring-revenue growth models.
Experience marketing platforms, digital products, or certification programs.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage agency partners.
Passion for ALPFA’s mission to advance Latino leadership.
Salary & Compensation
ALPFA offers a competitive total compensation package. The starting salary range for this role is $110,000–$135,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: In addition to the base salary, the role includes a benefits package, which encompasses:
Healthcare Coverage: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families.
Retirement Savings: A 401(k) plan with a healthy employer match to help you invest in your future.
Paid Time Off: Generous vacation, sick leave, and holiday schedules, giving you the time you need to relax and recharge.
Professional Development: Opportunities for growth and advancement through training programs, workshops, and educational assistance to further your career.
Be a part of ALPFA, where your work drives forward our mission of empowering Latino leaders and making a tangible difference in the global professional landscape.
