We are seeking a Director of Kinetic Mobility to lead and evolve our software development and DevOps capabilities across the organization. This role is critical in driving collaboration between Development and Operations, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business needs.

As a strategic and technical leader, you will guide teams through the full software lifecycle—from planning and development to production support—while shaping long-term solutions that strengthen our project portfolios and delivery performance.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate resources, processes, and teams to successfully deliver software releases
  • Provide oversight, coaching, and performance management for development teams
  • Partner with senior leadership and product teams to define release plans, priorities, and resource needs
  • Drive continuous improvement in development, testing, and deployment processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at high quality standards
  • Build and sustain effective Agile and Scrum practices across teams
  • Collaborate with product owners and project management to ensure clear requirements, realistic estimates, and successful execution
  • Champion DevOps practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and visibility
  • Mentor leaders and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Act as an Agile coach, supporting process consistency and training across the organization

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, including performance reviews and career development mentoring
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and best practices
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to optimize team effectiveness





What You Bring

  • Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools
  • Technical expertise in Java development, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), and web services/REST
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive initiatives independently and influence across teams



Qualifications

  • 7–8+ years of experience delivering software through full development and release cycles
  • 7–8+ years of experience in software testing and QA/QC methodologies
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a software development organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
