Position Summary



Recovery Associates Group (RAG) is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across multiple platforms. This individual will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, growing online engagement, educating the community about mental health services, and supporting the marketing efforts for both Recovery Associates Group and The Healed Mom Program.

 

Job Description



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that supports the organization's marketing and growth objectives.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Design original graphics, videos, reels, stories, and other multimedia content that reflects the Recovery Associates Group and The Healed Mom brands.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar featuring educational content, mental health awareness campaigns, organizational updates, seasonal messaging, and promotional initiatives.
  • Grow brand awareness and increase followers through strategic, organic social media marketing.
  • Promote Recovery Associates Group services, providers, community outreach events, workshops, and The Healed Mom Program.
  • Monitor and professionally respond to comments, direct messages, and other audience interactions while fostering an engaged online community.
  • Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff to ensure educational content is clinically accurate and aligned with organizational messaging.
  • Assist with branding initiatives and maintain consistency in voice, messaging, and visual identity across all digital platforms.
  • Develop and manage text message marketing campaigns to support patient engagement and organizational initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators, analyze engagement metrics, and provide regular reports with recommendations for improving reach and audience engagement.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve RAG's digital presence.
  • Capture and develop content from community outreach events, educational workshops, and organizational activities when appropriate.



Qualifications



Required

  • Professional experience managing social media accounts for a business, organization, nonprofit, student organization, internship, or freelance client or current enrollment in a Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or closely related degree program.
  • Demonstrated ability to create original digital content using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. Academic, internship, freelance, and professional work samples will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including platform-specific content formats and engagement practices.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field, or current enrollment in an applicable degree program.
  • Previous professional, internship, freelance, or academic experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital communications.
  • Experience creating short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Photography and videography skills.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or another social media scheduling platform.
  • Experience interpreting social media analytics and using performance data to improve content.
  • Interest or experience in healthcare, behavioral health, wellness, community services, or nonprofit marketing.
  • A portfolio or examples of social media posts, graphics, videos, campaigns, or other digital content.

Work Environment

  • Fully remote position.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Flexible scheduling with the expectation that social media content is published consistently, audience engagement is monitored daily, and deadlines are met.
