What will you be doing:
Contribute to technical documentation of the project, such as system software architecture designs/IT products
Autonomously implement complete features from scratch
Consistently follow all engineering standards adopted by the team/project
Actively participates in estimation meetings and clarifying requirements.
Participating in all phases of software development lifecycle.
Debug, troubleshoot and fix technical issues
Deployment of services on the cloud or on-prem
You are a good match if you have:
3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar infrastructure-focused role
Strong experience with platform operations, including high availability, backup/restore, and disaster recovery
Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services and Linux on AWS, preferably Amazon Linux
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Practical experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including Helm and GitOps-based deployment workflows (Argo CD)
Practical experience operating PostgreSQL, preferably on Amazon RDS
Experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline implementation following established patterns
Solid Git experience, including branching strategies and repository migrations
Practical experience with artifact management (Artifactory, Nexus)
Experience with IAM and SSO concepts, including Keycloak and OIDC/SAML integrations
Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability
Experience with incident management and 3rd level support processes
Experience with cloud migration and cutover activities
Experience with patch and upgrade management of infrastructure and services
Experience with Python and shell scripting for automation and operational tasks
Familiarity with code quality practices and automated testing
Familiarity with platform engineering concepts and developer portals (Backstage)
Basic knowledge of TypeScript and frontend development (e.g. for Backstage plugin customization)
