Louisiana Technology Group (LATG) is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will architect, design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable web-based applications while driving best practices across the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with software developers, architects, and engineering teams to build secure CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and strengthen our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and maintain secure web-based applications.
- Collaborate with application development teams to optimize and standardize DevSecOps processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Develop and implement security solutions within integrated development environments.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and provide technical input for major design decisions.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications within AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters.
- Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS GovCloud environments.
- Perform Linux system administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Continuously improve automation, security, monitoring, and deployment processes.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven DevSecOps experience in enterprise environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum 1 year of experience deploying containerized applications to AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters.
- Minimum 2 years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience.
- Minimum 2 years administering AWS GovCloud environments.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure software development, and infrastructure automation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
Required Certifications
- CompTIA Security+ or
- CompTIA Cloud+
Security Clearance
Candidates must possess an active Secret or Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or working with Navy data.
- Experience using Git, GitLab, or other configuration management tools.
- Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe development environments.
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA or similar issue tracking platforms.
- Additional cloud, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, AWS, or Agile certifications are a plus.
