Job Summary:
The Designer supports the creation and execution of high-quality visual designs across our health communication channels — including streaming health platforms, portal products, email, print materials, and video assets. This role collaborates with writers, strategists, and senior designers to produce compelling, on-brand design solutions under the guidance of project leads.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute visually compelling designs for digital and print channels, including streaming health platforms, portal products, email, print materials (mailers, collateral, etc.), presentations, and video assets
- Collaborate with writers, strategists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions
- Support the design process from concept through final execution, following direction from senior designers and project leads
- Apply and help maintain design templates, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across visual communications
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies
- Manage individual design tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Present design concepts to internal stakeholders as needed, communicating design rationale clearly
- Ensure design assets meet performance and usability standards across platforms and devices
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all design work
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, visual design, or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing range of design work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
- Familiarity with designing for email, print production, and portal/web interfaces
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about design challenges
- Familiarity with web and mobile design, responsive design, and UX principles a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended period of time.
