DE-FR(CH) - Freelance Translator German into French (CH)- Finance

English Business GmbH, located in Hamburg (Germany) is a language service company and part of The Language Group (US).

We are currently looking for freelance translators:

Language combination:

• German into French (Swiss)

Specialization:

• Finance

Requirements

We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria*:

a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or

b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating; or

c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Other requirements: 

- CAT tools experience (memoQ)

Important:
* As part of our ISO 17100-compliant onboarding process, candidates who do not meet the requirements for the first qualification category may be required to demonstrate the relevant professional translation experience required for the applicable qualification category.

If professional experience is used to meet the qualification requirements, candidates must be able to provide documentary evidence confirming the required period of professional translation experience (e.g. employment records, certificates of employment, or other appropriate supporting documentation).

Please note that this documentation will be required before the onboarding process can be completed and the relevant contract can be finalized. Candidates should therefore ensure that they are able to provide the necessary evidence if requested.
