- VA Rate : $10-11AUD per hour (Negotiable)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior engineers in the design and analysis of civil and structural Transmission line projects, including substation, infrastructure, and other facilities
- Conducting research, data analysis, and technical calculations to support the development of engineering solutions
- Preparing engineering reports and other documentation to communicate project progress and findings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Participating in site visits and inspections to gain hands-on experience
- Continuously learning and expanding your knowledge of engineering principles and industry best practices.
- Work alongside senior engineers on live energy and transmission projects.
- Gain exposure to design, testing, and project management activities.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Learn industry standards, project processes, and client interaction.
- Contribute fresh ideas and support innovation in engineering solutions.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office, preferably knowledge of engineering software, such as CAD, FEA, and analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- A passion for the engineering industry and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Nice-to-Have (High Value - Preferred but not required) • Experience with:
- Structural analysis tools (STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000)
- Transmission line software, FEA tools
• Understanding of:
- Load calculations
- Wind loads / structural behavior
