About the Role
The Data Visualization team turns massive datasets into clear, actionable, and visually compelling insights for clients and internal teams, acting as the bridge between raw numbers and strategic planning. As a Data visualization consultant, you will work in Milan mainly on data visualization projects in marketing and communication, working with Media Planners, Data Engineers, and Clients while taking ownership of projects with an end-to-end approach across the full delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Interact with external and internal clients to identify their needs and translate them into effective data models, KPI frameworks, and visualization specs
- Design, develop and maintain high-impact interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Datorama or Looker Studio
- Work with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and pipeline readiness for BI consumption
- Conduct exploratory data review to surface insights and anomalies for client teams
- Present outputs to stakeholders, adapting communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Help final users with tools adoption and listen closely to identify new business opportunities
- Contribute to the definition and documentation of data visualization best practices and internal methodologies to promote knowledge exchange
- Proactively explore new tools, techniques, and industry trends to bring fresh ideas into the team's workflow
- Participate in new business pitches with data storytelling and visualization examples
- Use problem solving and strategic thinking to plan activities and meet deadlines
Requirements
- 3–4 years of proven experience in Business Intelligence or Data Visualization, preferably within a media/digital agency, consulting, or marketing tech environment with client-facing exposure
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Proven experience in Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, and Power Query; MS Certifications PL-300 and DP-600 are a plus
- Solid knowledge of data modeling concepts, including star schema, relationships, and granularity
- Strong knowledge of SQL to explore, review, manipulate and validate heterogeneous data sources; experience with cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or Fabric is a plus
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and preprocessing
- Knowledge of data visualization design principles, including typography, color theory, and dashboard UI/UX; exposure to advanced charting (Deneb / Vega-Lite, SVG) is a plus
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English, written and spoken
- Learn new tools and methods, apply them to projects, and contribute effective practices and ideas to the team
- Proactive self-management to respect project timelines and facilitate coordination with other internal functions across different project phases
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, with attention to deadlines and output quality
- Use data to inform planning and communicate effectively across teams in a complex matrix environment
Nice to have: knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau, Datorama, and Looker Studio
- Nice to have: basic knowledge of digital media metrics and web analytics platforms
- Nice to have: familiarity with Azure DevOps and git fundamentals for cross-functional BI development
- Nice to have: familiarity with ETL/ingestion tools such as Adverity and Funnel.io, or similar data pipeline platforms
Pay Range
In line with the European Pay Transparency Directive, we are including the pay range for this role. We will determine the final offer based on relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
- Salary range: €32,000 - €42,000
- CCNL Commercio – 3rd Level or 2nd Level
This is a full remote position and we offer a permanent contract.
