Data Engineer

Hypemasters is an international game development studio building competitive PvP strategy games for mobile and PC. We create fast, dynamic experiences where data plays a key role in how we build, balance, and grow our games.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer (part-time) to help us design and scale the data backbone of our games and marketing systems.

You’ll take raw, messy, high-volume data and turn it into clean, powerful systems that the whole company can rely on.

Your Mission:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain reliable data pipelines and processing components using Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery, Looker).

• Integrate and manage data from various sources, including marketing platforms and ad networks.

• Design and maintain scalable data models and datasets that support analytics and business decision-making.

• Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable data solutions.

• Improve data accessibility, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem.

• Build tools and frameworks that enable faster, more effective analysis and self-service reporting.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.

• Optimize data infrastructure and processing costs while maintaining scalability and performance.

What we’re looking for:

• Expertise in designing efficient and scalable data models with large data sets

• Passion for gaming and an interest in using AI to create better player experiences

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery, Looker)

• Strong proficiency in SQL

• Background as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer, or similar role

• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a product-focused approach.
