Overview :
Job Title: Data Advisory & Strategy Leader
Role Summary
Lead data strategy and advisory engagements by partnering with senior client stakeholders to shape data-driven transformation initiatives. This role focuses on converting opportunities into strategic engagements while acting as a trusted advisor across data, analytics, and AI-led modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Advisory
- Lead data strategy conversations with prospects and clients, aligning business goals with data and analytics capabilities
- Define and position data advisory services, including data modernization and BI transformation
- Assess current-state data landscapes and define target-state architectures and roadmaps
Client Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Engage with CIO, CDO, CDAO, and business stakeholders to drive strategic alignment
- Influence decision-making through industry insights, best practices, and data-driven recommendations
Opportunity Conversion & Growth
- Convert leads and opportunities into strategic consulting engagements
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals and solution positioning
- Drive account expansion through advisory-led engagements
Data & AI Transformation
- Advise on modern data platforms (cloud, data lakes, warehouses) and legacy modernization strategies
- Provide guidance on data governance, data quality, and operating models
- Align AI/ML initiatives with enterprise data strategy and business outcomes
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 18–20 years of experience in Data, Analytics, and Advisory roles
- Strong understanding of Insurance domain (P&C / L&A preferred)
- Deep knowledge of legacy and modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP ecosystems)
- Expertise in data governance, data management, and enterprise data strategy
- Good understanding of AI/ML and its application in business transformation
- Proven experience engaging with C-level stakeholders
- Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
