Join UNSQUARE as a Senior Commercial Legal & Compliance Consultant!

We are expanding our Nordic footprint and looking for driven senior consultants to lead our growth in Denmark.

About the role

As a Senior Commercial Legal & Compliance Consultant, you will support our clients with a broad range of commercial legal matters, with a primary focus on Danish law. Depending on the assignment, you may work closely with management teams, business stakeholders and legal departments in both Swedish and international companies.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements

• Advising on commercial legal and regulatory matters under Danish and EU law

• Supporting clients with compliance-related issues and risk management

• Providing practical and business-oriented legal advice

• Acting as a key partner to our established XPartners sister companies in Denmark, supporting them with legal and compliance expertise

• Driving and developing our Contract Management offering in the Danish market, working closely and sharing best practices with our sister company Negota, who are leading experts in this field in Norway and Finland.

• Acting as interim legal counsel or contract manager at our clients sites

You can work from either Denmark or Sweden. While UNSQUARE is new to the Danish market, our parent group XPartners already has several established sister companies here. You will get the unique opportunity to build our brand from the ground up, while being fully supported by a strong, existing local network.

Who we're looking for:

• Danish law degree (cand.jur.)

• At least 8 years of experience in commercial law, gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both

• Experience within compliance, regulatory matters or governance is considered an advantage

• Fluent Danish and English, both spoken and written

• A business-minded, solution-oriented approach

• Comfortable working independently and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to build a brand and develop new business opportunities
