Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Details: Job Location: FLETC TAAS - Brunswick, GA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $90000.00 - $100000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: None, TIAG is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in support of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in a full time capacity. This position is fully remote. This position requires an Active Secret to start work, so US or Naturalized Citizenship is a requirement for considerations.  Cybersecurity Analyst Responsibilities Include: Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security program Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design, and implementation of security related to IT systems Oversee the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to security requirements Manage and update systems in the customer repository such as CSAM Gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs. Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to achieve Authority To Operate (ATO). Implement and enforce information system security policies, standards, and methodologies. Support and assist with the conversion from NIST Rev 4 to Rev 5 Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods related to cybersecurity. Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation in accordance with DHS and FEMA guidance. Develop and maintain system security plans, configuration management plans, implementation statements, incident response plans, and other Information Assurance (IA) documents. Conduct technical vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities in the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).  Maintain, monitor, open, close, and update POA&Ms. Qualifications:   Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or similar preferred 2+ years of proven experience performing cybersecurity administration Cybersecurity Administrators must have experience developing system security controls implementation statements, performing data entry tasks, performing information management duties, and providing security administration support at a federal agency level Experience working with distributed teams Strong communication skills; motivated to investigate, analyze, and document system issues and resolutions; provides consistent status updates to ensure IT security projects stay focused Strong work ethic and a proven professional - respectful, dependable, takes initiative, and follows through.
