RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Act as a senior responder during security incidents, including malware, unauthorized access, and data breaches.
- Analyze and correlate logs across SIEM, endpoint, network, and cloud platforms to support threat hunting and investigations.
- Plan and execute internal and external penetration tests.
- Identify and document vulnerabilities with clear remediation guidance.
- Perform static and dynamic malware analysis and assess attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Perform root cause analysis and support remediation efforts.
- Maintain and improve incident response playbooks and post incident reports.
- Work with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to resolve findings.
- Communicate findings and risk with technical rigor and accuracy.
- Mentor junior security analysts and engineers.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Security or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, incident response, malware analysis, and log analysis.
- Demonstrated background working with complex enterprise systems, infrastructure, and hybrid environments.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- English: Intermediate (B2+), able to communicate in work-related conversations.
VALUABLE EXTRAS
- Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell).
- Ability to work effectively in a global enterprise environment.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
