Overview

Customer Advisor (FINS)

📍 Brazil | 🌐 Remote

About the Role

As a Senior Customer Advisor (FINS) at Hyland, you'll bring deep financial services industry expertise to the heart of the customer journey. Acting as a trusted consultant to both the sales team and customers, you'll help current and prospective clients understand how Hyland's software can directly support their business objectives. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic thinker who thrives on building meaningful relationships, driving customer value, and contributing to revenue growth through consultative engagement.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

  • Operate as a consultant to the sales team and customers during standard engagements; broaden current and prospective customers' financial services industry knowledge as it relates to Hyland's software solutions and business objectives.
  • Elicit business requirements from customers through interviews and document analysis; ensure proposed solutions are aligned with identified business opportunities and drive measurable customer outcomes.
  • Develop solution selling tools such as product briefs, demo scripts, and case studies to facilitate education of employees, resellers, customers, and prospects across the financial services market.
  • Support the sales team in achieving or exceeding sales objectives by growing knowledge and proactively sharing best practices, competitor insights, and market trends relevant to the FINS industry and Hyland's solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to provide meaningful input on sales collateral, emergent product features, and solutions needed to meet evolving customer requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party organizations to shorten the sales cycle and deepen market penetration; consistently identify and share opportunities to improve internal efficiencies across the team.

Role Essentials

You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:

  • Demonstrated industry or market knowledge and experience within the Financial Services (FINS) sector, with the ability to translate that expertise into consultative, value-driven customer engagements.
  • Strong ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and build consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels in complex, fast-moving sales environments.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to speak and write with ease, clarity, and impact, using a style appropriate to the subject and audience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role.

What We'd Like to See

These will help you stand out:

  • Experience developing solution selling tools such as product briefs, demo scripts, white papers, or case studies tailored to financial services audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit and document business requirements through structured customer interviews and document analysis.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working alongside sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with third-party organizations to support sales cycle acceleration and deeper market penetration.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software platforms and the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse, non-technical audiences.
