Contracting Manager – Remote & US  
  
Infina Health is seeking an experienced Contracting Manager to join our team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire contracting lifecycle, from net-new contracting to renegotiating contracts and contracting for new services. This is an expanding role and has room for growth for the right person willing to roll up their sleeves and build a capability from the ground up. 
Responsibilities  
  • Build a contracting process and build out a contract management platform using a CRM 
  • Collaborate with leadership, identify appropriate contracting and re-contracting opportunities 
  • Initiates discussions with key constituents as related to new relationships or service lines  
  • Leads contract discussions with managed care organizations, including rate and language negotiations  
  • Leads development of rate and language proposals. 
  • Make sound recommendations to leadership for accepting/rejecting proposed agreements.  
  • Participates in special projects as needed 
  • Evaluates feasibility of program development as it pertains to payer operational requirements 
  • Stays abreast of changing healthcare landscape to maintain an awareness of competitor services and reimbursement models 
  • Find opportunities for improvement in the financial and operational aspects of managed care contracts 
  
Job Requirements  
  • At least 3 years’ Payer Contracting experience  
  • Experience in Ambulance industry is preferred, but not required as the contracting is straightforward  
  • Ability to build and manage a process 
  • Ability to operate independently, entrepreneurial.  
  • Ability to build a capability from the ground up 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
