Own the creative engine for a scaling DTC ecommerce agency, and watch the founder step back so you can step up.

Tired of doing great work at a big agency that nobody outside the account team ever sees? This role flips that. 

You sit at the centre of the creative testing engine across a roster of ecommerce brands. You read the data. You spot the next hypothesis. You brief it in. You QA it before it goes live.

Ajile treats every creative as a testable bet, not a finished product. Win or lose, you learn fast and move on. If you like clear thinking over office politics, you'll fit right in.

You start close to the founder, learning the accounts and the playbook. By month three, you're running the pipeline yourself, spotting opportunities, briefing the work, calling the shots. This seat is built for ownership, not support.

Add multiple brands, a business growing fast, and a clear shot at becoming the person the founder trusts to run creative strategy end to end. This isn't another agency seat. It's a different kind of opportunity.


The Role

What you’ll own:

Creative Strategy Across Client Accounts
Own creative strategy across Ajile's ecommerce client roster — spotting what's working, what's fatiguing, and what to test next.
  • Review performance data and turn it into creative direction
  • Understand what's working and what's fatiguing
  • Identify the next creative opportunity
  • Develop new hypotheses and prioritise what gets briefed and tested
  • Keep every account's creative pipeline full
Video, Static, Landing Page & Offer Briefs
Write briefs for video ads, static ads, landing pages, offer tests, iterations, and new angles/hooks, clear enough that editors, designers, and landing page teams can execute without back-and-forth. You won't produce the assets yourself, but the brief is where their quality is won or lost.

Full-Funnel Creative Ownership
Connect the dots across the whole funnel: customer, awareness stage, hook, angle, offer, creative, landing page, conversion path, and client economics. You should be able to diagnose whether traffic is converting, the offer is right, the landing page backs up the creative's promise, and the campaign makes commercial sense.

Customer & Market Research
Research sharper creative angles using Meta Ad Library research, competitor research, customer reviews, Reddit threads and forums, and voice-of-customer work, surfacing pain points, objections, desires, language patterns, and awareness stage.

Performance Review & Creative Iteration
Turn account data into decisions:
  • What's winning, and why
  • Where fatigue is setting in, and where new concepts are needed
  • Which hooks and angles are resonating
  • How landing pages are performing
  • How creative performance connects to client economics
  • What the next round of testing should be
Creative QA
Act as the pre-launch quality gate for creative work.

This includes: Reviewing finished videos, statics and landing pages, checking work against the original brief, ensuring the asset delivers on the intended hypothesis, sending work back when it is not strong enough, and signing off assets before launch

Workflow & Pipeline Management
Keep visibility across the whole pipeline, researched, briefed, in production, ready for QA, launched, performing, and needs iterating.


The Person

Who we’re looking for:
  • Direct-response ecommerce experience
  • Strong understanding of Meta ads
  • Experience working with DTC or ecommerce brands
  • Ability to write clear creative briefs
  • Strong understanding of hooks, angles, offers and customer awareness stages
  • Ability to interpret performance data
  • Understanding of how creative connects to contribution margin, ROAS and client economics
  • Ability to think across ads, landing pages and offers
  • Strong customer research ability
  • Strong written communication
  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts
  • Hands-on, scrappy and willing to get into the details
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude to support research, briefing and workflow
