Position Summary:

·  Supports the Corporate Insurance Team by handling insurance-related administrative and operational tasks and collaborating across the organization.

·  Works with local practices to identify and address insurance risks arising from daily operations, contracts, and business transactions.

·  Coordinates with external insurance brokers and assists with annual renewals, due diligence activities, policy changes, and coverage placement.

·  Processes insurance requests such as certificates of insurance, tail coverage quotes, and policy endorsements.

·  Maintains and tracks insurance data using tools like Smartsheet, Excel, and databases, while supporting other assigned insurance-related responsibilities.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

·  Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.

·  Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

·  Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, including providing practical guidance while considering legal and business risks.

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

·  Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of insurance industry experience (healthcare experience preferred), and insurance certifications such as CISR, CIC, CPCU, CWCA, or AAI (encouraged but not required).

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
