At Worldpackers, we believe that travel can transform people - and transformed people can transform the world. ✨

Our purpose is rooted in connection. We exist to foster personal growth, cultural exchange, and a more socially and environmentally sustainable world through travel.

Being part of Worldpackers means working with purpose - helping more people experience transformative journeys through connection.

We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and help create unforgettable collaborative experiences around the world. 🌎

About the role

We're looking for a Copywriter to own voice consistency across our three product lines — Membership, Group Trips, and Epic Trips — writing landing pages, campaign copy, and captions in whatever channel needs the words that day. You'll partner closely with the Brand & Community Lead on Epic Trips launch copy, and write in support of our Social Media, SEO & GEO, Paid Media, and CRM/Lifecycle teams — without taking their channels away from them.

You won't set brand strategy (that stays with the Brand & Community Lead), and you won't run a channel. You're the range player: a punchy caption in the morning, persuasive landing page copy in the afternoon — both unmistakably Worldpackers. This is not a training role — we need someone who can pick up our voice guide and start producing at full speed from day one.

Main Responsibilities

Voice & Brand Copy

  • Own and maintain Worldpackers' voice/tone guide as a living document, including EN/ES/PT-BR market nuances.

  • Run the six-question on-brand check on your own copy before it ships, and support the monthly brand drift audit.

  • Draft core landing page, campaign, and product copy across Membership, Group Trips, and Epic Trips.

Epic Trips & Launch Copy

  • Partner with the Brand & Community Lead on Epic Trips launch copy.

  • Support new product and feature launches with copy that's on-brand and conversion-aware.

  • Hold the line on real-scarcity-only messaging in launch copy — deposits, dates, and spot counts stated as fact, never manufactured urgency.

Cross-Channel Support

  • Write on-brand copy in support of the Social Media Managers, CRM/Lifecycle Manager, and other business units, without owning those channels directly.

  • Collaborate with the SEO & GEO Specialist on organic content copy.

  • Work directly with the Video & Content Producer so copy and visuals arrive as one piece of content.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in brand or content marketing copywriting, ideally writing for more than one audience segment under one brand.

  • Demonstrated range — able to write a punchy social caption and a persuasive landing page in the same sitting.

  • Fluent in English, with spotless written and verbal communication.

  • Comfortable taking and incorporating editorial feedback quickly.

  • Ready to work independently from day one — able to pick up an existing voice system and produce at full speed without ramp-up time.

  • Proactive, hungry, and humble — you spot problems before they become fires and act without waiting to be asked.

  • Genuinely passionate about travel and human connection.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration in a remote, startup environment.

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and/or Portuguese.

  • Experience writing for a subscription, marketplace, or membership-based product.

  • Basic SEO copywriting experience (on-page optimization, keyword-aware writing).
