We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join a client project focused on building, integrating, and operating resilient cloud-hosted services that connect with on-premise systems and agents.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong experience in C#/.NET, Entity Framework, Azure Container Apps, and complex API integrations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across modern cloud-hosted services and legacy/on-premise environments, with a strong focus on reliability, observability, software craftsmanship, and production-grade delivery.
You will work closely with product, delivery, and engineering teams in an agile environment, helping to design and deliver services that are secure, scalable, maintainable, and built to SLA standards.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.
- Strong experience with Entity Framework for data access and persistence.
- Experience hosting and orchestrating services using Azure Container Apps.
- Experience integrating on-premise systems and agents with cloud-hosted services.
- Solid grounding in API integration, including rate-limited APIs and legacy/on-premise systems.
- Understanding of multi-tenant authentication, authorisation, and throttling patterns.
- Strong command of TDD and software craftsmanship principles.
- Experience writing resilient, observable, production-grade code.
- Experience working to reliability and SLA standards.
- Comfortable working in agile teams with iterative delivery.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with product, delivery, and engineering stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tooling.
- Experience integrating with Databricks.
