Position: Content and Social Media Manager

Salary range: up to Php 60,000/month

Working Hours: AU business hours/ Monday to Friday

Work set-up: 100% Remote work

Holidays: Australian Public Holidays

About Company:

Our client in AU is a fast-growing Melbourne-based residential and development architecture studio. It's approach is grounded in construction-informed design - shaped by experience across property, on-site trades, construction project management, development and architecture.

As part of its growth, the company is building a documentary-style content engine that shows the story behind every project —-the thinking, the process and the outcome. We're looking for someone to take ownership of that content and social media function, not just execute what's handed to them.

About the Role:

This role exists to take the company's project inputs - talking-head recordings, scripts and project materials - and turn them into polished, on-brand long-form and short-form content, and to build and run a structured social media presence around it.

The project-series editing (long-form episodes and short-form clips) remains the primary requirement. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who genuinely understands social media and content strategy, and who will proactively contribute ideas, spot opportunities and help shape what the company wants to puts out - rather than only executing supplied content.

The owner will own and retain the architectural IP, project story, scripting and overall brand direction, and anything technical or architectural will always come back to him for approval. Within that, we want someone confident enough to suggest a better content approach where they see one.

You will be provided with:

  • The recorded talking-head episode and script
  • Project material for each episode - drawings, renders, site footage, photographs, etc - placed into a shared folder
  • Site footage, construction updates, conversations, design thinking and the technical context behind decisions
  • Sign-off on anything technical, architectural, or brand-direction related

Core Responsibilities:

  • Edit long-form, documentary-style project episodes (talking head, floor plans, sketches, project media) into a polished, branded final product
  • Identify and extract the strongest short-form content from each episode - prioritising quality over hitting a fixed clip count
  • Produce supporting graphics, thumbnails, captions and other assets needed to publish
  • Format content correctly for each platform: long-form / YouTube-style, 9:16 vertical, and 16:9 horizontal
  • Develop and maintain a structured content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Schedule and publish content across all relevant platforms
  • Proactively contribute to monthly social media and content strategy - generating ideas for educational and tips-style posts around architecture, construction, planning, feasibility, budgeting and the project process
  • Create supporting static content such as project posts, carousels, educational graphics and behind-the-scenes content
  • Draft captions, titles, hooks, descriptions and thumbnail concepts in line with the company's voice
  • Review social performance and provide simple, practical recommendations on what's working, what isn't, and what to produce more of
  • Apply platform-specific best practice rather than posting the same piece of content everywhere
  • Take a topic or prompt per company direction and turn it into multiple pieces of usable content
  • Maintain an organised library of raw footage, completed content, drawings, renders, imagery and brand assets

Type of Content You'll Be Producing

  • Project journey / documentary-style episodes
  • Educational and tips-style content explaining what was done, why it was done, how it was done, and why the process matters
  • Short-form social clips repurposed from long-form episodes
  • Static and carousel content, educational graphics and behind-the-scenes posts

Tools & Skills

  • Premiere Pro and/or Descript for video editing
  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for graphics and static content
  • Strong written English, comfortable representing an Australian professional-services brand
  • Exposure to architecture/design software (e.g. Revit) is a plus, though not required from day one - technical confidence to learn is valued

Growth Path:

As you become familiar with the company's projects, software and brand, we'd like this role to take on more of the supporting content preparation directly - for example pulling appropriate plans, elevations, 3D views or screen recordings from Revit, selecting renders, creating simple diagrams or sketch-style overlays, and turning design-development material into social content.

The owner will always provide what only he can capture - site footage, construction updates, conversations and the technical context behind decisions - but over time the aim is for you to go into the project material and identify what you need, rather than everything being individually packaged for you.

Longer term, you will become genuinely responsible for keeping the company's content engine moving: sourcing and organising material, editing, repurposing, creating supporting content, suggesting new ideas, publishing, reviewing performance and helping build the brand — while the owner remains the source of architectural knowledge, project story and overall direction.

What Good Looks Like

  • Content that looks genuinely polished and on-brand — not just competently cut
  • Strong editing judgment, including pacing, structure and storytelling — not just basic trimming
  • Quality-led decisions on short-form output, rather than producing clips purely to hit a number
  • Ability to turn a single recording, or a single topic/prompt, into a full content pipeline
  • A blend of content production skill, content strategy thinking, and organisation skill

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Video editor and content manager hybrid, with genuine social media knowledge
  • Confident editing both long-form documentary-style video and short-form social content
  • Organised, with strong file and folder management habits
  • Strong sense of brand and visual presentation
  • Comfortable proposing ideas and content direction, while understanding technical/architectural calls sit with Jarryd
  • Able to work independently from direction, without needing every decision specified
