This is a full-time, remote position. The scheduled work week will be Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm. This is a fully remote position and will not be required to work onsite at any point.

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to:
- Audit high risk reimbursement issues for both professional and facility billing across all of UW Health (Madison, Northern Illinois, and joint ventures).
- Utilize in depth knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding to assess, research, educate, and problem solve complex issues/questions.
- Work with key stakeholders across the organization on projects and actively participate in meetings/workgroups.
- Ability to be proficient in data analytics programs, systems, and databases to identify risks and track audit findings.
- Responsible for compliance audits of billing providers and facilities

Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Coding Program
- Two years of Coding experience may be considered in lieu of the medical coding program, in addition to the experience below. Required
- High School diploma or equivalent Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years of related coding or auditing experience in a health care setting Required
- Experience with third-party reimbursement and billing systems Required
- 5 years multi-specialty physician/hospital coding experience in an academic medical center Preferred
- Experience interacting with physicians/hospital staff regarding coding requirements Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) Required
