The Community Manager will act as the primary bridge between the development team and the player base, managing social channels and Steam discussions. They are responsible for gathering and prioritizing player feedback, creating engaging content, and nurturing relationships with community leaders and content creators.

Job Description

We're looking for a Community Manager to champion one of the most beloved motorsport strategy titles out there. You'll be the voice of the game and will bridge between our players and the development team - gathering feedback, running the show on social and Steam, and building genuine relationships with a community that's already passionate, vocal, and deeply invested. This isn't a from-scratch build. There's a thriving Motorsport Manager community ready for someone to take it further.

You'll write dev diaries that give players a genuine look behind the curtain: design decisions, feature spotlights, the story behind each update.  From time to time, you might also be asked to appear on camera for a dev stream or Q&A.

You'll also shape how we connect with content creators, plan events that get people talking, and make sure every player feels heard - whether they're tweaking a tyre strategy or arguing about driver ratings on the forums.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

You're a community person through and through - you know how to keep a space healthy, engaging, and constructive without being boring. You've managed communities before (games ideally), you're comfortable in the chaos of Steam discussions, and you understand why Motorsport Manager clicks for people. You can write forum replies that are human, and social posts that are actually fun to read. You don't need to be a motorsport expert - you just need to be curious enough to learn from the community and speak their language. Most of all, you're excited to be the bridge between a dev team and one of the most passionate communities in PC gaming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day community management across social channels and Steam discussions, keeping the conversation active, healthy, and fun
  • Act as the primary feedback channel between players and the development team - collect, prioritise, and communicate feedback so it actually informs decisions
  • Write and publish engaging content: dev updates, social posts, forum announcements, and anything else the community needs to hear
  • Manage and moderate Steam discussions, surfacing bugs, answering questions, and maintaining a constructive environment (even when things get heated)
  • Build and nurture relationships with content creators, modders, and community leaders who help grow and sustain the Motorsport Manager player base
  • Track community sentiment and report on what's working, what's not, and what players are asking for
  • Work alongside the external pre-launch team to ensure a smooth handoff and consistent voice when Motorsport Manager 2 gets closer to release
  • From time to time, appear on camera for dev streams and Q&As

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in community management, ideally within games
  • Strong understanding of Steam as a platform: discussions, reviews, wishlists, and how to manage a forum community
  • Excellent written communication skills - you can write clearly, quickly, and in a tone that fits the moment
  • Ability to handle feedback and criticism constructively, both giving it to the dev team and receiving it from the community
  • Self-starter who can manage their own time and priorities in a remote working environment

Desirable

  • Genuine passion for motorsport - you follow at least one series closely and can talk about it naturally
  • Familiarity with Discord server management and moderation
  • Experience working with influencers or content creators
  • Additional languages are a big plus - our community is global and we want to reach everyone
