Communication Specialist

Ciklum is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team and drive Ciklum’s external communication strategy forward. You will be an essential part of our Communications team, helping us shape and amplify Ciklum's brand and media presence.
Clear and compelling writing in English and Ukrainian, alongside strong interpersonal skills, are essential for this role. We also expect high self-organization in planning and executing external communication campaigns, as well as the flexibility to succeed within a complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
  • For media: handle incoming media requests and create high-quality external content end-to-end (media pitches, press releases, expert comments, and articles). Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather insights
  • For social media: drive our corporate social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn – planning, writing, and adapting engaging content to amplify company news, achievements, and culture
  • For recruitment promo: craft compelling promo texts for priority open positions and hiring campaigns
• Market Monitoring & Analytics:
  • Monitor industry best practices, market trends, and competitor communications to continuously improve our external strategy
  • Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and external communications performance using PR impact and engagement metrics

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in external communications, PR, or media relations within the IT industry
• Advanced English level (C1/C2 — written and spoken) and fluent Ukrainian
• Strong understanding of PR principles, tech industry trends, and media requirements
• Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills with high attention to detail
• Hands-on experience managing corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to measure PR impact
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Desirable:

• Proven track record of executing successful public relations campaigns
• Existing relationships with tech, business, and industry journalists or influencers
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and process optimization
