About Your Role
The Commissioning Technician supports the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they are installed, tested, and operating in accordance with design specifications and project requirements. This role is responsible for reviewing design documents, developing pre-functional checklists and functional test scripts, and executing onsite commissioning activities. The Commissioning Technician works closely with the Commissioning Authority, Project Managers, engineers, and contractors to document testing results, coordinate system verification, and support successful project delivery. The position also provides technical input during the design phase, assisting engineering teams with system reviews, conceptual diagrams, and commissioning considerations to support overall system performance and reliability.
