About the Job
As a Cloud Architect at Aspire, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions across enterprise environments. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to define cloud strategies, drive cloud adoption, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
What you'll do
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Define cloud standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
- Lead cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure successful cloud adoption and integration.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies to support business needs.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and solution design workshops.
- Develop architecture documentation, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, availability, and operational requirements.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of cloud environments.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong experience in Cloud Architecture and solution design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Solid knowledge of cloud networking, security, identity and access management (IAM), and governance.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar standards.
