Clinical Testing Manager

OutcomesAI is a healthcare technology company building an AI-enabled nursing platform designed to augment clinical teams, automate routine workflows, and safely scale nursing capacity.

Our solution combines AI voice agents and licensed nurses to handle patient communication, symptom triage, remote monitoring, and post-acute care — reducing administrative burden and enabling clinicians to focus on direct patient care. 

Our core product suite includes: 

● Glia Voice Agents – multimodal conversational agents capable of answering patient calls, triaging symptoms using evidence-based protocols (e.g., Schmitt-Thompson), scheduling visits, and delivering education and follow-ups. 

● Glia Productivity Agents – AI copilots for nurses that automate charting, scribing, and clinical decision support by integrating directly into EHR systems such as Epic and Athena. 

● AI-Enabled Nursing Services – a hybrid care delivery model where AI and licensed nurses work together to deliver virtual triage, remote patient monitoring, and specialty patient support programs (e.g., oncology, dementia, dialysis). 

Our AI infrastructure leverages multimodal foundation models — incorporating speech recognition (ASR), natural language understanding, and text-to-speech (TTS) — fine-tuned for healthcare environments to ensure safety, empathy, and clinical accuracy. All models operate within a HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2–certified framework. OutcomesAI partners with leading health systems and virtual care organizations to deploy and validate these capabilities at scale. Our goal is to create the world’s first AI + nurse hybrid workforce, improving access, safety, and efficiency across the continuum of care.  

• Lead and manage clinical testing of AI-enabled healthcare solutions.

• Coordinate clinical testers and ensure consistency in testing and documentation.

• Evaluate AI interactions for clinical appropriateness, accuracy, escalation, disposition, workflow alignment, and patient communication.

• Aggregate testing findings to identify trends, patterns, strengths, and opportunities for optimization.

• Translate clinical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.

• Develop and maintain clinical test cases, rubrics, reference standards, and testing documentation.

• Partner cross-functionally to support continuous improvement and clinical validation of new features and workflows.

• Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert and advocate for real-world nursing practice throughout product development.

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how AI is evaluated and improved for real clinical use. This role has direct influence on product decisions, clinical quality, and how our solutions support nurses, patients, and healthcare organizations.

You’ll work closely with Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams in a fast-moving environment where your nursing expertise will have a meaningful impact on how healthcare AI is built and brought to market.

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; master’s degree in nursing, informatics, healthcare, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.

• Nurse triage experience highly recommended

• If no nurse triage experience then applicants must have Acute-care experience in emergency nursing, ED triage, or critical care to be considered.

• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, escalation, and disposition decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate clinical findings for clinical and technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and pattern-recognition skills.

• Experience with clinical quality, validation, informatics, healthcare technology, or AI is preferred.

• Familiarity with generative AI, conversational AI, or large language models is preferred.
