Position Summary:
TapestryHealth is seeking a Clinical Program Education Manager to lead the design, structure, and execution of education programs supporting our contracted clinical workforce. This role is responsible for defining and operationalizing the training and onboarding strategy for 1099 clinical service providers and reviewers, ensuring readiness, consistency, and scalability across all clinical programs.
This individual will serve as the central owner of education standards, translating clinical workflows, documentation requirements, and platform functionality into clear, actionable guidance for a distributed, remote workforce operating in an asynchronous review environment.
In addition to internal education responsibilities, this role will partner closely with Clinical Operations to ensure alignment between Tapestry Complete, RPMi, and the Customer Portal, including auditing training materials and workflows for accuracy and consistency. The role will also serve as a liaison to Account Management, supporting the education of external partners and facilities to ensure clear understanding and adoption of TapestryHealth’s clinical programs.
Success in this role requires a strong foundation in clinical education and training program development, not as a secondary responsibility but as a core area of expertise, along with experience supporting virtual clinical teams at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Education Strategy & 1099 Workforce Enablement
• Own and define the end-to-end onboarding and training strategy for contracted (1099) clinical service providers and reviewers.
• Develop structured, role-based onboarding pathways that ensure clinicians are prepared to perform remote chart review and clinical decision-making effectively.
• Clearly define expectations related to:
- Scope of clinical review responsibilities
- Documentation standards and quality expectations
- Clinical decision-making parameters
- Escalation and handoff workflows
• Ensure training programs support consistency across a large, distributed workforce operating in a virtual environment.
Clinical Program Training Development
• Develop and maintain training materials aligned to Tapestry Complete, RPMi, and integrated clinical workflows.
• Translate clinical program requirements into practical, reviewer-facing guidance, including:
- Review checklists
- Decision-support tools
- Workflow guides
- Common pitfalls and FAQs
• Continuously evolve education content as workflows, programs, and platform functionality change.
• Ensure training reinforces accurate, consistent clinical documentation and review practices.
Operational Alignment & Content Audit
- Partner with Clinical Operations leadership to ensure education reflects real-time workflows and operational expectations.
- Conduct ongoing audits of training materials and workflows across Tapestry Complete, RPMi, and the Customer Portal to ensure alignment, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify gaps between documented processes and actual system functionality, and update training accordingly.
- Support program launches and scaling efforts by ensuring training readiness for new reviewer cohorts and services.
External Education & Account Management Support
- Serve as a liaison to Account Management, supporting the education and training of external partners, physician groups, and facility stakeholders.
- Assist in translating internal workflows and clinical programs into clear, external-facing education.
- Support training initiatives that drive adoption, understanding, and alignment with TapestryHealth’s services.
- Help ensure consistency in how programs are understood and executed across internal and external stakeholders.
Education Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain ownership of all training materials and ensure version control across programs.
- Identify trends in reviewer performance, confusion points, or inconsistencies and proactively update education.
- Lead targeted refresher training and education updates as workflows and expectations evolve.
- Coordinate education-related communications to contracted clinicians and reviewers.
Requirements:
• Licensed clinical professional (LPN, RN, NP, or similar).
• 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in post-acute or long-term care settings.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in clinical education, training program development, or instructional design (not incidental to another role).
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing structured training programs for clinical teams.
• Experience working with or supporting contracted clinicians and distributed workforce models.
• Strong understanding of remote chart review and non–face-to-face care delivery models.
• Experience working in a virtual, asynchronous work environment.
• Exceptional written communication and ability to translate complex workflows into clear guidance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting APPR, DQR, utilization review, or clinical chart review teams.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and asynchronous training delivery models.
• Experience in virtual care, remote clinical programs, or multi-state clinician models.
• Strong ability to translate clinical workflows into clear operational guidance.
