Speech-Language Pathologist: Full-Time Elementary School

Virginia | December 2026–June 2027

You care deeply about your students. Your team should care deeply about you. đź©·

Chatterboxes was founded by an SLP who believes that connection, clinical growth, and wellbeing belong at the heart of our work. We’re building a professional home where you can ask questions, share ideas, feel heard, and grow without losing yourself in the demands of caring for others.

Through our Sanctuary Model, we make room for regular conversations with your clinical leader, thoughtful collaboration with fellow SLPs, and relationships that extend beyond your caseload. We want you to feel connected to a team that knows you and values what you bring.

At Chatterboxes, we believe meaningful clinical work and a sustainable career belong together.

We’re an SLP-owned practice seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to step into an established placement in Virginia, from December 2026 through June 2027.

You’ll support an existing elementary school caseload while staying connected to a clinical community built around collaboration, growth, and wellbeing.

  • Schedule: Full-time, following the district’s school calendar.

  • Caseload structure: The school’s speech-language services and evaluations are shared between this full-time position and another SLP providing 0.5 FTE support.
  • Service delivery: The current arrangement includes virtual services M-F.

What you’ll do

  • Provide individualized and small-group speech-language therapy.
  • Complete evaluations and contribute to eligibility decisions.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor student progress, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaborate with the other SLP to coordinate services and evaluations.
  • Partner with teachers, families, and the special education team to help communication skills carry into students’ everyday learning.
  • Support continuity of care throughout the coverage period.

We’d love to meet you

Apply with your resume and a brief note about your availability, Virginia licensure status, and school-based experience. Tell us what helps you feel supported and fulfilled in your clinical work, too.
