The Opportunity
The College is seeking highly motivated and adaptable educators with demonstrated expertise in English and academic skills development to join our Casual Teaching Community. You will contribute to the delivery of the Undergraduate Preparation Program (UPP) - Applied Policing, supporting students to develop the academic and English literacy skills required for entry into a Bachelor’s degree.
You will deliver workshops, facilitate learning activities, and assess student progress. Working collaboratively with teaching teams, you will undertake assessment moderation and marking, contribute to curriculum development, and provide academic support to students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
A key focus of this role is the delivery of English literacy and academic skills through an online teaching mode. You will facilitate synchronous and asynchronous learning, including live virtual classes and self-paced modules, to ensure students remain engaged and supported throughout their studies.
Our online program utilises a flipped, blended learning model consisting of 2 hours of live, synchronous online sessions and 7 hours of asynchronous learning per week. We are looking for teachers who can actively drive student progression and community outside of the live classroom.
Subjects delivered through the UPP - Applied Policing program are offered in an online delivery model. For more information on the College’s Programs, please see the following link:
