Welcome to the Mastercard Foundation Associate Program application for East Africa!
Shortlist will support the Mastercard Foundation as the East African placement partner, seeking to place 3,550 young Africans—particularly women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and refugees—into employment opportunities across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Burundi. Roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite depending on employer requirements.

Candidate Journey:
1. Outreach - Fill in the Call for Application Form (CFA) on Zoho Recruit.
2. Screening - Initial screening of the talent pool to ensure alignment with program guidelines.
3. Training - Invitation to Prep2Soar training pre-placement modules; Career Self-Management, Interview Readiness, Job Search in the Age of AI, and Onboarding 101.
4. Shortlisting - Suitable applicants from the talent pool are invited to confirm interest in a specific role and attend an interview with the employer.
5. Contracting - Employers provide feedback, ideally within two weeks, and successful candidates sign a contract to become associates.
