In this role, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring the timely acquisition of medical records and supporting our legal team in building strong cases for our clients. Key Responsibilities

As a Call Centre Representative, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and communication-based tasks, including:
 

  • Proactively engaging with medical providers to request and obtain medical records essential for client case development.
  • Handling all incoming calls from medical providers and the Social Security Administration (SSA) in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Implementing and maintaining a systematic follow-up process to ensure all outstanding records requests are fulfilled.
  • Expediting urgent requests for medical records by contacting providers directly to facilitate a swift response.
  • Reviewing and managing invoices related to medical records, making approval or denial decisions based on established criteria.
  • Compiling, organising, and accurately submitting medical records to the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR), while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

Essential:
 

  • A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 45 WPM.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for active listening.
  • A collaborative team spirit, combined with the self-motivation and discipline to work effectively in a remote capacity.


Desirable:
 

  • Familiarity with Social Security Disability Law or a background in medical fields would be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience working successfully in a remote role.
  • Bilingual abilities are considered a strong asset.
  • Further education or relevant vocational training.
