Job Role: Business Analyst (Retail +Fashion)

Notice period: Immediate joiners preferred
Note : candidate must have domain experience in both retail and fashion
Introduction:
We are seeking an 8-10 years experienced IT Business Analyst with strong experience in the Headwear, Retail,
Fashion, or Apparel domain. The candidate will collaborate with business users and technology teams to design
and deliver IT solutions supporting retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, and omnichannel platforms.
• Priori Working experience for munti regional clients and stakeholders espacilly for USA/EUROPE
regions.Should be good in communications and collaboration to guide both offshore team and onshore
stakeholders on busirss requirements
• Hands-on - experience in Retail and Supply Chain Domain. Usage of JIRA, Confluence, Specing is required
• Working hours - 8 hours , EST Time zone. ( 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST) This shift hours is mandatory as
meetings happen during this overlap hours.
Responsibilities include:
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements across retail and fashion
processes.
• Document business and functional requirements, workflows, and user stories.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Support enhancements across retail systems such as POS, ERP, merchandising, inventory, and e-
commerce platforms.
• Assist in UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with business users.
• Analyze data, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making and operational improvements.
• Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business goals and customer experience expectations.
Primary Skills :
• Mandatory experience in both Retail and Fashion/Apparel industries, with strong domain knowledge
of Headwear, Apparel, Textile, and Retail business processes.
• Experience in PLM Implementation.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems, ERP, merchandising, inventory management, supply chain, or
e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum-based project delivery.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Outstanding facilitation and influencing skills.
• Confidence to question stakeholders and identify underlying requirements.
• Proficient in establishing relationships, analysing perspectives and managing stakeholders from a variety
of backgrounds; adapting stakeholder engagement style to meet the needs of different audiences.
• Good leadership skills, can motivate, feedback and coach. Adapting communication style as appropriate.
• Pragmatic self-starter able to work with little guidance
• Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in working with any B2B and B2C platforms. Also, good knowledge on B2B and B2C
concepts.
Secondary Skills :
• Experience with omnichannel retail, CRM, loyalty systems, or digital commerce platforms.
• Exposure to global retail operations or large-scale retail transformations.
• Experience in working with multi-tenant and multi-regional business systems will be an add on.
• Certification in Agile such as Certified Business Analyst/Product Owner/Scrum Master.
• Professional certification such as the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
• UX design.
