Contract Duration: July to Dec 2026, with the possibility of renewal

Work can be done anywhere in Canada, but will align with the Eastern Time zone hours

Role Overview

The Business Analyst will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team to design and deliver Cúram product features in support of a social services transformation initiative. The role is responsible for functional analysis, solution design, user story development, testing support, and stakeholder collaboration. Working closely with developers, designers, and quality assurance teams, the consultant will help translate business needs into effective, user-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and user stories.

  • Support the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of Cúram product features.

  • Collaborate with Cúram developers, UI/UX designers, experience designers, and test automation teams throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Facilitate and lead design workshops, reviews, and stakeholder discussions.

  • Develop prototypes and solution concepts for user validation and client feedback.

  • Support Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story management.

  • Utilize Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes to support solution delivery and traceability.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes, user experience, and product functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Agile Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, Business Process Analysis, and Agile product delivery.

  • Proven ability to elicit requirements, create functional designs, develop user stories, and support testing activities.

  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD practices, and test automation methodologies.

  • Experience facilitating workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder reviews.

  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with IBM Cúram solutions in a functional analysis or business analysis capacity is preferred
