We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in Sales Cloud to support business transformation initiatives and optimize end-to-end sales processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, sales leadership, and technical teams to gather requirements, design scalable Salesforce solutions, and drive successful implementation and adoption of Sales Cloud capabilities.
This role requires strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, sales operations, CRM best practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Evaluate current sales processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and business stakeholders to define future-state processes and Salesforce solution designs.
Sales Cloud Solution Design
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical delivery teams.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, requirement prioritization, and solution alignment sessions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
- Drive alignment and consensus across cross-functional teams.
Delivery & Testing Support
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Define and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and manage defect resolution.
Reporting & Analytics
- Gather requirements for reports, dashboards, and sales KPIs.
- Support development and validation of Salesforce reporting solutions.
- Analyze sales performance data and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of sales data and reporting.
Change Management & Training
- Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and adoption workshops.
- Support change management initiatives and drive user adoption.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce.
- Strong functional expertise in Sales Cloud.
- Experience working directly with Sales Operations and Sales Leadership teams.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Engagement and Einstein Activity Capture (EAC).
- Experience in Salesforce implementation projects and CRM migrations.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data migration concepts.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
