We are seeking to add an Operation Manager – Brilliant Operations to Lead and oversee the daily operations of a distributed team, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and strong customer support. This role drives strategic initiatives, manages team performance, and partners cross-functionally to optimize processes and deliver high-impact results. General Job Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of MES and Analytics engineers and analysts
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training initiatives
- Serve as senior escalation point for client service issues and maintain strong client relationships
- Implement process improvements to drive efficiency and service excellence
- Monitor KPIs and develop strategies for continuous improvement
- Manage workforce scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture across remote teams
- Conduct performance reviews and partner with HR to address development needs
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Oversee use and optimization of tools such as D365 CRM and project management systems
- Partner with IT to resolve technical issues and maintain system reliability
- Prepare and present operational reports and analyze trends to inform decisions
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering or technical field preferred)
- 5+ years of operations, program, or project management experience in a technical or industrial environment
- Experience leading MES or industrial technology teams (e.g., Velotic, Inductive, Parsec)
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities in a matrixed environment
- Proven ability to manage remote/distributed teams effectively
- Experience with KPI tracking, performance management, and continuous improvement strategies
- Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel (pivot tables, LOOKUPs), and SharePoint
- Strong client-facing experience and ability to manage senior-level relationships
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% and work in a fast-paced environment
